Chris Mazur licensing music

Chris Mazur is a tuba player and general music junkie who has spent 12 years piecing together the various corners of the music licensing industry.

From a humble beginning of selling library music and making hip Brooklyn jams for advertising, Chris currently spends his time finding and licensing music for the Netflix Marketing team.  Some of Chris's highlights include convincing James Murphy to make generative music from tennis data for IBM, hiring the (Bulgarian) Sofia Orchestra for a side project for Rob Schnieder and commissioning two David Bowie covers in the same week that sound extremely different.
